It began with a single candle poured in a rented kitchen. Friends asked for more. Their friends asked too. Three years later, we partner with nine family-run workshops — from a ceramics studio in Jingdezhen to a leather atelier outside Florence.
We skip the middlemen, visit every workshop ourselves, and price honestly. That's the whole model.
Full-grain leather, European flax, solid brass, high-fired stoneware. If it can't age beautifully, it doesn't make the collection.
Direct partnerships mean artisans earn more and you pay less. Every workshop is audited annually — by us, in person.
